At last, something to enthuse about! At any level, against any opposition, nilling a team that enjoyed the possession and territory that Dewsbury did, is something to be proud of. The team spirit and togetherness was there for all to see - and it quickly spread to the North Stand.

Haven't most of the interesting scores been involving us? Yes, Rochdale lost narrowly to Toronto this week. The problem is that warmer weather and better pitches will likely mean that the cream rises to the top, as the conditions will not be the equaliser they are currently. With a shortened season because of the Middle Eights, there is just not the number of games left to claw it back. It will be a little while, though, before we are mathematically out of it - assuming we keep winning. Feel sorry for all those who have paid multiple hundreds to come to Toronto! Perhaps I can take them and watch a game of baseball instead!

Step in the right direction long way to go yet let’s hope that we can start a descent run and let’s see where we end up. Would love to be there to watch the games but it’s a bit of a distance so rely on LCTV.

Some more positives to build on.
Lads are turning up in defence for each other, even if there is still work to be done there. No tries against, however, in our last 80 mins is fantastic. It really is.
Special mentions go to Jordan Thompson and Hansen for me. Today. Made so many metres. And young Dezaria was outstanding, especially in defence.

All in all I enjoyed today. Lots of effort and commitment from the boys. Even the north stand woke up this week!

Massive improvement, Hutchy needs a try, he's just trying to hard. Hansen warmed up with the backs, nice to see some new ideas.

Mata'utia was just class, good team spirit and passion.

A couple of bad calls from the TJ which left Mr Hewer looking a little silly at times but overall he had quite a good game.
