| Not me either.
A Corbyn / Abbott UK does not make for a prosperous future IMO.

Agreed, having previously always voted Labour, and having voted Brexit, these are not the people I want at the forefront of our negotiations or leading a post Brexit Britain.

He has all ready announced he is not standing as the MP for Leigh. Mayoral vote is on 4 May.

| It's like trying to decide whether to be hit by a train or run over by a bus or possibly thrashed to death with a LibDem bicycle pump.

I'm very interested in this term negotiations! What does it mean
If I was a member of an organisation or, employee, and I submitted a letter of resignation and then, told the organisation, or Employer the terms I wanted to leave on, what would be your answer to me if you were the Organisation/ Employer ?
Brexit, lets imagine it was France who had triggered Article 50 and we were one of the remaining twenty odd countries receiving their resignation, what would the man in the street here be saying; Fr@@gies get shut of em who do they think they are?icon_lol.gif

| Like it or Lump it, the Tories have played the trump card and a Landside is expected.
Corbyn cant backtrack on his Brexit views. Unfortunately for him, all the Labour areas voted for Brexit hands down.
I cant take him seriously to be honest so its a no contest.

Having a son who was taken very seriously ill a few years ago I have nothing but praise and gratitude to the NHS’s medical staff I do however have genuine questions about the NHS non-front line personnel.
Does every hospital/authority need its own board? National/Multi-national companies don’t.
Does every hospital/authority still negotiate its own purchasing of vehicles? Wouldn’t it be better/cheaper to centralised.
Does every hospital/authority have its own Purchasing department? If so why?
Does every hospital/authority need bed managers etc? Is it that different to stock movement in industries?

Corbyn is unelectable, he's not even the Labour MPs choice

In most instances leaving employment is cut and dried there are however instances where the employees services are still required be that part time or as a consultant and then yes they generally do have a say in the terms.
As for Brexit, we import more than we export, that gives us a very strong hand, we can now talk to the world, do you think Manuel the Spanish tomato grower is going to be pleased when the EU puts a tax on his produce destined for the UK, and ADSA say no thanks Manuel we can now get them cheaper from South Africa as we have reinstated the commonwealth trading agreement.

| If i was 20 years younger, I would stand as a Independant Leigh MP. I think you should come from the town you are representing and not move about the country to find a seat to get yourself elected.

I asked; What would we say to a Nation who had triggered article 50?
I know all about Europe, I spent a lot of my working life there and, I know Manuel too

I guess that would come down to which country, if it was as big a player/payer as us say Germany, then I would have been very concerned about the impact/loss, France would also be an issue as it could restrict us trading with the rest of the EU should it shut up shop so I'd still want to be friends with these but if it was one of the lesser countries say Greece I’d say good riddance.
Pass on my regards to Manuel.

| Negotiations, aka brinksmanship when both parties have plenty to lose or gain. When in these you let the opposition know you are prepared to walk away without a deal, a landslide election reinforces the hand you play with. Germany will itself if we reciprocated trade tariffs on the motor industry for example, fekk the Frogs the ones talking are career politicians of the worst kind. We pay our dues to NATO and global aid, unlike most of our EU partners, if you don't pay your 2% of GDP to NATO throw them out for a couple of the EU gobsheeites who are piping on about exit costs this would put them in a cage. With the right leader Europe will become what it should be and Corbyn or the lib dems represent the appeasement brigade awash with loony left and non producers who would sell us down the river. Vote Leyth Bent n Bongs popular Front
