how good is he ??? backed to hilt with cash and biggest spend outside SL last year. Completely flopped and failed to make any real impact at the business end of the season when his team was beaten by teams with less money , with lower paid players who were all part time ! Is that the measure of a great coach ??

This news had knocked me for six. What a crap 24 hours this has been. McNally out for ages and now Rowley has gone too just on the brink of the new season.

Easy with hindsight, but the back-and-forth in the press between Rowley & Beaumont about going unbeaten during the main season was a bit strange. Rowley quoted as saying such comments were disrespectful, Beaumont giving it some back in his column.

Facts right please. Leigh were beaten by one part time team at the end of last season. Furthermore, I should imagine Bradford spent more than Leigh (they did get some sort of parachute payment after all)
