I wondered why we got to 60 votes a couple of hours ago and hadn't a single vote since then - you just can't get the staff these days can you.

Gone for Riddy although Barlow, Kay and Brierley all came close with several others (everyone really) impressing all season. Hard to pick one but for me Riddy makes us 'click' and takes us to another level.

My favourite NEW signings for 2014, are Liam Kay, Oli Wilkes & Sam Barlow. BUT just shading it on PLAYER of the year, is Martin Ridyard.....Liam Kay close 2nd.

It makes you feel disloyal to choose just one player and i ended up going for Ryan as he has gone from scoring to making things happen with his positioning and distribution

Brierley was the star up until May and Riddy had a quiet start to the season, when Ryan's performances went off Riddy's form improved and he is having a strong end to the season. That's the problem with these types of polls, fans just remember the last few performances not the whole season. It's player of the season! Bob Beswick has been consistently good all season.

Yeah i agree, although i wouldn't say Ryan's "gone off" i think he is playing a different role now but i get what you mean.How can i leave out Riddy or Kay or Pitman, all the forwards etc...

Beswick been good again all season, he could be in contention to win it.like he won it last year. Penky as well but obviously these players will be overlooked as they just get on with their job and don't jump in front of crowd to get noticed.

Sam Barlow for me. Would've voted for the whole team but the big man has just been the most entertaining to watch this year for me. The Fev game just made me sure.

Tom Spencer won it last year Leyther100, I think BB won Players' Player.

To be honest you can't pick a player of the year the whole squad have been outstanding..

If it's this hard for us, imagine how hard it will be for Paul to choose his 'Coach's Player of the Year'.
