This has to be Madens last season with us so unless he's a Rowley favourite (hope not) so hopefully we'll sign at least one along with Hill cementing a 1st team spot too. Am I being too optimistic we''ll finally get some pace out wide?

What is it with people under esamating mado, I personally think he's a quality player, if you watch the game and realise how many yards he makes for us!

Charlie would love to see Jamie Ellis back in Leigh shirt at the LSV , I don't know if it will happen though ,the lad is a Quality player , and a genuine good all round bloke .

Wouldn't get rid of Maden he does an awful lot of work in every game but maybe he needs moving off the wing as he definitely isn't fast enough any more .He's a good solid player though and I rate him .

He either moves to centre or goes for me personally he'll get mullered out wide by the likes of Sheffield. He's been vital while we've had/having our injury crisis but with a bigger squad & pack recruited we wouldn't be as reliant on his drives. We've been wanting pace out wide for years so we either get that rectified or continue to moan about the same problems year after year & get caught out it sure does feel like groundhog day as a Leigh supporter.

Would think Workington will manage to have first dibs on him, but I'd have him in a flash.

Mado plays his 200th game on Thursday it puts him in the top 58th of all time appearances for the club and is in the top 25 of club try scorers, I for one hope he gets 300, keep it up Steve some of us appreciate your efforts over the years, and still one of the first names on the team sheet.

Fred I agree Steve M has been a very good servant to Leigh , but he has lost his pace now , and theres no room for sentiment in Professional Sport , in my opinion and it is only my opinion mind you , I would call a Taxi for a few of our Squad next season , for me its going to be onwards and upwards , we MUST compete with Fev , the Seagulls ,and Fax.

It is not so much Steve's lack of pace as the general lack of pace in the team - if we had two or three flyers then it wouldn't be an issue.

Plus, if we are relying on a winger for yardage then there's another problem!
