Great news!! Especially considering he would be a sought after player if he chose to leave. Hill must be most fans fav player mainly because he gives his all consistently.

Its important becuase he's one of the top 3 props outside SL, is with us for the foreseable future, and means we've a better chance of getting something should a SL club turn his head.

I am delighted with this news.
Chris deserves this sort announcement, its like a new signing for next season in a way, lets face it, Chris is a SL prop, and too stay with us is Big news. He could have gone for the pot of gold and gone elsewere.
Anyone not delighted by the news, isnt a leigh fan simple.

| If people speculate and come to all sorts of conclusions, then the club can't help that! 
Was it not preferable thought to the usual way these things happen? Where somebody who can't hold their own water comes on here and blerts it into the public domain, often before everything is finalised, and then the club gets it in the neck for being slow on the release of the news? |

Your right Dave, Chris does deserve a big up for re-signing but personally it would have been fitting for it to be done in the centre of the pitch in front of all the fans who adore him. If it were me the applause of 2000 fans would make me feel more special.
