| blythe was MOM for me. Jock had his best 20 mins since widnes game in the last quarter. Armitstead probably the best forward.
Defence for the Ballard try was a disgrace, for that matter defence over all was poor. Early in the season we had spells of defending 20 tackles on our own line. Now any time a team (any team) gets within 30 yards they are probably going to score unless they make a mistake.
Had the boys run with the determination and agression they showed in the last twenty it would have been a more even contest.
Lost count of the knock ons.
Still not unhappy with a BP from barrow away.

| No creativity, no craft, no pace, no bloody idea at times, why can we not play like the first 15 mins and the last 20 mins all the time? Cant see where our next win is coming from TBH.

| We aren't good enough, Top 2 finish, if you'd have asked me a few months ago i'd have said definately, but after the she-ite displays and woeful defending and without any guile, skill or pace on offense. I'm now not so confident. Gonna be a close finish, a very close finish.

| You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but Ian Millward is having a damn good go. I doubt we'd anywhere near a top 4 finish under most other coaches in this division.

| We were AWFUL. Couldnt catch or pass, and some of the defense was woeful.
Most undeserved bonus point I've ever seen!

| Poor display from Leigh , we were smothered defensively until the game was lost and we then started chancing our arm , offloading through the middle and Barrow were chasing shadows
So why can we not play that way from the start
It seems also that we are far too slow in mind as well as body , just as Batley did , if we miss out on forcing the drop out , teams now know that a quick tap is a massive opportunity to outpace us down the wings , we dont seem to be quick witted enough to try any one on one rips,40/20 s , kicks bounced into touch from a 20 tap , or forcing players back or into touch in the tackle
We really need to ' wake up ' mentally
Having said that , we've ended up with a bonus point which is what I would have been happy with pre match , something similar on thursday and hopefully finding some of that early season form going into the last 4 matches is now the aim
Above all we have to start playing as we did , and that means risking offloads as we did in the last 20 minutes foday , but right from the start

| Very poor performance for the most part, but bloody superb for the first 5-10 minutes and the final 20. Think that's the most frustrating thing as it shows that this side are more than capable of playing decent rugby when they put their mind to it.
Though Barrow were going to get 50 at one point so get a bonus point was quite a surprise - had Donlan took that pass early on with the line at his mercy and had shown a little more patience late on when we rushed ourselves in to making mistakes, we might have even snatched the win, albeit a hugely undeserved one.

| As an aside and with events involving Castleford and at Leeds today , I hope that Barrow will be recieving a fine similar to Cas [ and hopefully Leeds ] for the chants aimed today at Brett McDermott , it is quite unacceptable in this modern day for a club like Barrow to allow fans to call a player a " Fat B*****d " and for it to be insinuated that he had indeed eaten ' all the pies ' , you could quite clearly see by his actions [ rubbing his stomache ] that he was deeply offended and upset by this
Discraceful

| For me, our early season success was built on an unrelenting defence, frustrating the opposition and then taking advantage. We seemed fitter than other teams at that stage. We never were 'fancy' with the ball in hand, but were good at taking advantage of tiring teams. That gave we fans a bit of false hope - the team was actually playing well above its potential.
Now everyone else is as fit as we are and have wised up to our failings and are exploiting them to the full.
Two league wins in the last six (against the bottom two) tells the story perfectly.

| After 50 minutes I thought it was dire and they were on their way to a cricket score, if we'd played another 10 we could have actually won.
Barrow didnt give up either, you could see they were as desparate not to let us get the BP as we were to get it.
Robbie had a stinker, worse then Durban at Batley and I'm convinced he wont wear the shirt again. Anyone can have an off day but if he's not fit then don't play him, paper thin squad or not, because the amount of ball he lost killed most of our momentum.
Hopefully when he gets fit he'll turn it on becuase I think we're due a good performance from him.

He had a poor game. In his defence, if I'd had the op. that he has had, I wouldn't be going anywhere near a rugby field for a while! He came back after just three weeks, when eight was the recommendation!
