SInce June, TB and the club have been knocking on doors and ringing up, he also asked local businees and people to contact him with offers, ideas, help and assistance in whatever way possible. The Corporate Club have been going back to their members with the begging bowl too and existing sponsors have also tipped up. Its happened mate, trust me.

Remember the additional money that came from them, well that was as a result, but as some businesses sit in both camps they can only spilt that pound note so many ways.

There is a lot going on with sponsors etc (and I;m sure some have not been contacted for whatever reason)but dont forget there is a skeleton staff now at Leigh and ony so many hours in the day. Thats no excuse when the club is in the position its in but with a thousand other things to resolve its an unfortate fact that some things will fall bewteen two stools.

Most of the existing sponsors are Leigh fans like the rest of us and have been asked to help and in as many cases as possible have done. Dont forget, many pay up monthly by DD already - like the fans though there is only so many times you can knock on that door.

Make no mistake, TB has been bangng on every door possible. Sure there might be a couple he's missed but given his task over the last few months, its understandable.

Glad you cleared a few points up there mate. I just hope we havent missed anything out. Asking for fans to donate to a game that we didn't get to will only harm the club IMO. How do we expect fans to pay for season tickets when all the talk is we might not see 2012.

Disgraceful comment, only took us from bottom to top in 18 months, appointed a world class coach and increased gates by 25%. Ticked the box, the next 2 years were to consolidate and increase investment.

If we had got a golden ticket in 2014 does anyone think AT WOULDNT HAVE INVESTED MORE IN SL?? it's not hard to get into those SL play offs!!

I dnt know about the sponsers but the players are having to pay for their own awards night.

I'll have to ask the same question again have we got any directors at this present moment? Maybe 1 of the more wealthy 1s would give us a short term loan to help us through this very tough period?

Just because we haven't heard anything 'official' yet, it doesn't mean that nothing is going on behind the scenes. We can all be assured that TB and the two 'active' directors are exploring EVERY avenue to try and get us out of the immediate predicament.

I still think that, if we can survive this, we have a bright future, with a lot of hard work, and the support that TB is 'enjoying' at the moment.

Our fan base is more than 2000 mate.Look at the average gates and is considerably higher than Leigh, even though we have not been successful.We would have had another 1000 fans if was top 2 in the league.

I think Starbug was trying to make the comparison =#FF0000IF Widnes had a gate of 2000. We know yours is much higher, and that's why he says we need to emulate you.

Personally I would like us to emulate HKR and get their 80,000 support!
