| As long as you don't implode against one of the bottom 6 teams, you'll make the top 4 with 32 points. The five games involving Toulouse, Fev, Fax and London could all go either way. Two competition points between all of them after 18 games, and impossible to call. The top 6 all won their games this last weekend against bottom 6 opposition with ease.

| All I keep thinking is that Sky really are missing out o a superb end to the season for the sake of a load of boring SL matches.

| Forget Toronto - the key game to a top 4 finish for me is the one the following week at Batley. Never an easy place to get a win it's going to be even harder this time around if we still have a limited squad to choose from compounded by the inevitable jet lag from the flight back to the UK. Yes I know that KP/KC will have them up for it but if we are not able to be 100% focussed and fully fit for this game it could well be the banana skin that we slip up on. Hopefully not and if we do make the Qualifiers then, regardless of our eventual position, I think that KP should be given the Freedom of Leyth for what he will have achieved this season after that nightmare start.

Agree 100%, Batley away is a big game, win, loose or draw in Toronto.
(No Rangi this time around)

| I get your point completely but
- I just think we will/can beat Toronto regardless
- if we do beat Toronto the Batley game will then be less important.
The aim for me is still to win each game as it comes up. To tight to think about not going 100% at Toronto for me

Batley game could be the difference between 3rd or 4th.
3rd - Toronto at home
4th - Toronto away
I don't know about you but I would rather have them at LSV
My opinion obviously

The Toronto game has the same meaning. Win it and we have 3rd (most likely) and I really do think we have too much for Batley these days regardless.
That said it is nice to debating whether we should go all out to try and beat Toronto. It has been a fantastic effort by the club over the last 12 weeks or so. Whoever KP puts on the pitch in Toronto I will be cheering them on and I know the players playing will be going all out.

| Even if we lose at Toronto (which I don't think we will) we will still finish in top 4 - I predict 3rd - as they are going to take points from each other. We are the best team in this league. It was just unfortunate that we had that terrible start with NJ and the new faces still gelling.
Progressing from the M8s is the tricky bit as I don't think any of the Champ teams are good for SL.

| To be honest there some of the super league teams that would struggle in this division from what I have seen this season. Sat going to be tough but I think we can go and get a result over in Toronto. Dicipline is the key to winning the game

Like all part time teams in our division Batley are ravaged by injuries, as evidenced by their last 2 results i.e.20-38 home to Sheffield and 12-50 away to Halifax. I predict a similar result to yesterday and should act as a springboard together with the last 3 games to catch all the other teams' points differences, and could end in 2nd place if we beat Toronto!!

Not sure now! The post I saw was from ( I'm assuming) the RFL. Which stated no block fixtures of home or away in the middle 8's for them. Are you saying thats not the case H?

| TWP are subject to the same rules as everyone else, they will be playing at home or away as the fixtures are scheduled, no block bookings.
Also I think that the RFL should schedule the games so that no team has to travel 'overseas' 2 weeks on the bounce, including TWP and TO.
But that makes it somewhat difficult for TWP as when they play at home in Canada, all the players are effectivly playing away, they all live in this country, plenty of tooing anf froing for them then.
Question to all, should they be given preferential treatment in scheduling their games, or being part of the same comp should tge same rulles be applied to all?

| Same rules when it comes to the 8s. Otherwise unfair to all the rest, Champ and SL alike.
Nothing against them but our own teams should not suffer to accommodate them in our competition.

Dear God, surely not HRJ - if they play their M8 home games over here then it really would make a mockery of the sport
