| Quote: Montyburns "Where are all the jukes out lot now? Jukes is the problem he not good enough coach? As I stated months ago there is a bigger problem at the club jukes was always going to be the scape goat but I’m glad the problems have carried on even though he decided to leave. The players recruited from the main man KC as got us in this problem and I honestly think the players he recruited are not good enough. A shake up in personel is needed and quick can’t keep going on as we are as we could end up like Bradford and trust me that’s not a million miles away to many deluded people involved with the club who don’t care about the club'"
Jukes was not good enough, the Fev and Halifax results don't change that. Yes, there are many other problems, and KC has been a huge failure, but stubbornly keeping Jukes named as head coach last season was a massive mistake

| Derek is as frustrated as us all. The problem is like us, he is not sure what the solution is.
The obvious one is to fire Cunningham but that was one of Derek's mistakes in the first place, a second mistake was then to give him a 3 year highly paid contract. The result being now, any movement to now get rid of him will cost Derek a lot of money paying up, on top of the lot of money he is already pumping into the shambles each month. More expense, that is now only justified if top 4 was 100% guaranteed.
One thing is for sure. I guarantee Derek is back in charge of any future player recruitment.

Good, it's bad enough that we have one hot head in Acton, we don't need another who spends more time in the stands than on the field.

I expect to see Cunningham become the most expensive programme seller the world has ever seen.
Unfortunately, there is no solution. 5 losses out of 6 means irreparable damage has been done to our hopes of promotion and even top 4. DB has to now sort budgets out for next season, based on next to no central funding and get a coach in that can avoid relegation this season! If that means transition back to part time next season then so be it, but more emphasis will need to be put on the Tommy Sale Youth programme to make sure that reserves / academy structures stay in place. Imo, the first bad decision that led to this was scrapping the reserves in 2016. We completely underestimated the number of players we would need contracted at the club to give ourselves a chance in SL.

LeythIg I agree with a lot of what you say, we must face the harsh truth But the Club's future, this season reminds me of a mirror image of the Disaster season with Bell and Hart in charge, that season we had been relagated and we're strong g favourites to be promoted,we had a very strong Squad ,Murphy was in charge, and the losses came thick and fast,às this happened the players slowly left the Club, as it seems they are doing now, ie ,Baptiste and if true Hutchy,we played Runcorn on New Years Day with no less than 6 Scrum Halves in the 15 man squad.
Come the end of the season ,it was terrible Bell and Hart demanded their investment cash back, and the Club was on its knees, my worry is ,Does Dereks investment be regarded as a loan or is it an investment that if he leaves the Club we don't have to repay? We are not privy to this but it is a worry. For me it's not just the Overseas players who have been disappointing,I've been asked a few times over the past weeks what's happening at Leigh? My answer,I honestly don't know,we won't be relagated, but the top 4 is now a dream, look at our remaining fixtures,we have 1 win out of 6,I like to think I'm an optimistic fan, but you can't keep saying,we will get a win this week, you have to earn the wins, our next game is Dews at home it won't be easy. Will we beat Batley in the Cup?I'm not sure.

| Missed out on Gaz O Brien as well as he chose Toronto over Leigh. Unfortunately we once again have a terrible reputation where players are concerned.

I reckon he'll play full back. Brierley will play better when his only decision is whether to run through a gap, or pass to a playmaker behind him.
