Pownall and Hoppy for me. I thought Leigh's defence was very good in parts, especially on our own line.

We kept Fev quiet for most of the game, our defence was outstanding at times,one who stood out for me was young Hopkins, and pownall's pace showed. From what i have read in the media these young lad's are going to be the future of Leigh centurions. I agree meekin looked good.

yes he did our two young half backs Eccleston and Sheen (not seen him before he gave a very polished performance though ) ran the show, Johnnie Pownall is gonna be a big star for us, two new centres too in the Murphys (no relation) both ran well, and the new second rower Smith is a giant and took some stopping, Meeks gave his usual sterling show without taking a backward step ably backed up by Big Sam and the rest of the pack, it was good to see Hitty back with some good distribution in the second half complimenting Griffs effort earlier. Featherstone looked a shadow of the team they had last year.
