Have always been impressed with Evalds when playing against us. Young, pacey can play wing or full back -what's not to like? 2 tries in Millon pound game too.

Presumably we are concentrating on signing some backs now - we've only got ten signed so far, with only two centres in Brown and Tonga. And Tonga hasn't had the best of luck with injuries. Versatile backs such as Evalds or Hampshire could be worth a punt, although neither of them is a centre. Also, we could do with one or two pacy signings, as we aren't currently blessed with outstanding pace in the squad.

Agree totally with this. If we want to compete & not just be a passenger in SL then we need pace in the backline.

Bradford were far quicker in the backs than us in 2016, good job our pack destroyed everybody bar Leeds.

Higson, Thompson and Dawson can cover centre but would like to see a centre who can cover wing even if we do sign Hampshire and Evalds

What worries me is we DON'T sign Hardaker,as Cas and Salford are reported as being interested, then we have Harold Rigby Jnr displaying his nether regions at the Turnpike, it will be a Voyeurs Dream, but a Nightmare for most.
Maybe Harold will follow Charlie and become a Killer Clown.

Minns was also mentioned in the papers, he has opted to stay at HKR, Hampshire still not announced, the good Dr looking like he isn't letting Evalds get out of his contract. Are we suddenly finding it difficult to sign the players we wanted. With the quota full, I don't think we can look overseas either.
