Yes he signed for an NRL club, but he didn't make the grade and was shipped out to their feeder club. Do you think he'd have come back and signed for Leigh if he was good enough to play in the NRL?? |

He wouldn't have signed for a Super League club either if he was good enough for the NRL. Plenty of other players have been a success over here after playing in the Aussie reserve grades though. |

Fair enough, but maybe he's good enough for Super League, and like a lot of players, can use the chamionship as a 'stepping stone' with there being no regular promotion/relegation between the two leagues.
Who's seen Michael play for Windsor Wolves, did he have a good season, has he improved etc since his time at Bradford. There is a reason why his agent approached a championship club, maybe the player isn't too sure about playing SL just yet, or maybe clubs were told about his availability, and nobody was interested ?
Bulls have re-signed Karl pryce, now I think that is a poor signing, hardly improves the team, BUT I maybe wrong - just like some folk who seem to think Worrincy can only play at Champioship level - time will tell, I guess. |

At some time in life you have to take a gamble. Was Micheal such a terrible player before he went to Australia? I don't think so. At Leigh we have a long memory because of players that have signed for the club and failed to come up to the grade. I like to think that our present setup is a very wise to any player that is being touted by an agent and as Paul said in his interview, Micheals agent has done us proud so far. Can't wait to see the lad in a Leigh shirt. Anyway hope he plays better than his brother did for Fax today.
