Well, its pretty much played out as expected this season for Leigh, I mean you have to support your team, you have to be confident even if you don't fully buy in to it, its your job as a fan to be positive.
Gotta remember also that Leigh had only lost 3 of their last 72 league games, dunno about cups and friendlies but...3 out of 72 ????, that has [igot[/i to colour your sense of perspective somewhere along the line, even jumping to SL.
But now at halfway, whilst not being too late its easier to see where your at and what needs to be done to avoid the nasties at the split.
In the big scheme of things this isn't a hugely notable game but it looks a biggie for Leigh if their gonna make any kind of move away from the bottom 4.
Leigh at ours I'd fully expect Wakey to win no matter what, but at Leigh its a bit up in the air if they haven't already chucked in the towel.
Can't predict a score, could be anything, gonna say 10 - 24 but I couldn't raise an eyebrow if they won by 20 or lost by a point..

The owner of Leigh Centurions publicly stated one goal at the start of 2017 - consolidate while maintaining Super League status. Any result in between is a bit superfluous really. This has to be considered a success, and I'm sure all the Leigh fans will be happy to build from that outcome in 2018.

Indeed I was. There were quite a few more than 307 though, probably closer to 600 but I will admit that I only counted in groups of 10 so I could be a touch out.

I'm not convinced he did milk it, but even if he did, he needed to as the ref was giving nothing against blatent foul play. A chicken wing tackle that was only put on report, not even a penalty, several high shots which led to three Wakefield players taken off with concussion, a cannonball tackle on Fifita, and Hadley with a broken jaw

its not great to have promoted clubs getting a season in SL just to drop off the cliff 26 games later

I want to see them out of the 4, its proper do or die time right now, honestly...what are expectations, obviously it doesn't effect me much more than actually hoping they do ok, so I'm kinda out of the loop with the general feeling at the club, I mean are we still shooting high or banking on the mini league at seasons end.
