I fully support Trevor's appointment on to the board.
I worked on the PSG with him for 18 months and know how much time and effort he put into the club. I know how frustrated he got with so little money available and having to abide by the old BOD. I remember little things like when the club got a free membership of Premier sports he immediately asked the group what he should do with it. He could easily have used it himself. I also know that he put his hand in his own pocket for some printing for the emerging junior centurions and when he went to various events representing the club he bought his own tickets.
I also know that he upset a number of people when he tried to cut back on the wasteful and unnecessary practices that were going on at the club.
I think he will have some positive suggestions for the club to use.Well done to the BOM

Too many hangers on from the past. New broom and all that. TB and the new bod is the future, if that upsets people from the past, then good riddance. The future of this club is in attracting the under 25's to the club not pandering to the over 50's who are stuck in their ways.

Well I have kept quiet on this subject and I am not sure it conforms with the much heralded new dawn for me given that Trevor is obviously not everyone's cup of tea.

However what I will say about Trevor is He is a very well connected bloke with some friends in high places and with Trevor just as passionate about our club as the next man, that can only be to the benefit of Leigh RLFC.

People come people go its a fact of life the only constant is the club, if people don't like that well tough because it is true, also true is that in any new management structure some people do not get on so they move on neither of the two people that have allegedly left has come on here to explain their actions so every one else is second guessing, so either put up or shut up.

Why would people who have or may have left need to come on here and explain?

Exactly, good riddance. Now how do we start to attract the next generation and Eastern Europeans who have moved into the town?
