Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one

The 5 local clubs were given a form to fill in ‘Who wants a free ticket?’ (I never asked but would imagine it’ll be funded by the Co-op, does it matter?), the form had to include the adults name and contact details and just the name of the child, a representative from each club was asked to drum up support from their club and to ensure the form was completed correctly, they had up until mid day Saturday to return the form to LSV reception, Leigh will then issue the tickets today/tomorrow for the South Stand.
Could it be abused? Of course it could, but hopefully not.

We filled in this form at Leigh East last week but last night we were told that we wont be receiving the tickets, i dont know if it is just our group not getting them or if its everyone?

I've emailed the club for clarification, but the guy who's organised it on behalf of Leigh East, has posted this on the East site last night.

I’ve just spoken to the guy arranging the tickets on behalf of Leigh East, he was down there last night and he’s not aware of any issue with regards to tickets, he has spoken to Hannah this morning and all his tickets are now available for him to collect from LSV as agreed. |

Would be interested to know who at East said this as it wasnt the case, Mick Woods and Glow have worked hard to get as many as poss signed up for the tickets. Do you recall who told you this Ron? |

I know of someone going tomorrow with a free ticket and he has only been on the ground twice. He is taking his partner and two children who have never been there. Ticket came from a primary school. Club have done their job now it is up to the players to give them some entertainment.

| To be honest I’ve had next to nothing to do with this, all the credit has to go to the 5 lads representing the Amateur clubs and Hannah for organising it. 
The Leigh East issue was nothing more than a simple misunderstanding that was quickly cleared up by Mick.
Lets hope all the kids have a great time, and make loads of noise.    |

40 adult and 40 kids tickets were available for each of the five clubs (400 tickets total), have they all gone? Sorry I don’t know.
The five clubs are Atherton Dragons, Golborne Parkside, Leigh East, Leigh Miners Rangers, and Westhoughton Lions.
