British jobs for British workers or Leigh jobs for Leigh workers is an idea that is illegal and wouldnt work. Why discriminate against immigrant workers. The best person should get the job. Immigrants make a net contribution of hundreds of millions of pounds to the British economy.

As for the disgraceful sinking of hundreds of asylum seekers in Australia, if you think thats right and not fascist then you should get your head examined

Until very recently the only people who would take shift work at one of my production facilities in Ireland were Polish (I mean every single one!) as natives were either in comfortable jobs in the local pharmaceutical industry or happy to claim benefits. The lads have worked really hard, covering extra hours as necessary and with an excellent attendence record.
Now the pharma industry in the region has contracted and a number of people have lost their jobs what should I do? Kick out those who have been working all hours over the past couple of years to give the jobs to people who didn't want them 6 months ago?

I think all the main political parties have ignored many concerns of working people (though not on immigration). I feel too often they have failed to articulate the nature of the global economy in which we live, they have failed to invest in broken communities, in education. They have not done enough to address social problems, to get people off benefits and they have failed to spread the success of Britains economy to the have-nots. I believe the BNP successfully play on these concerns and are an attractive prospect if you listen to only a smidge of what they say. I dont think an unemployed worker who feels let down is a racist for thinking the BNP make sense on some issues. Yet if they research there policies and still decide to vote for them, I think they are a racist and an idiot. The BNP play on prejudice, on many peoples mistrust of people from other countries and immigrants

Personally I find it abhorant that the BNP prey on the emotionally and financially vunerable in times like this. Throughout history, when times are bad, the flagwaving extremists appear from all corners of the politcal and religeous spectrum.

Equally, I dont care too much for those who think that anyone who dares question immigration policy is an ignorant racist Nazi. They are as dim as the facists who think all would be good if Britain was pure and white.

I don't understand why these anti-BNP protesters feel it's necessary to follow them around, look at the press coverage they've give the BNP now, they should just let them get on with it.
You couldn't pay for this kind of publicity especially as it's one of their own who was injured. If they just let them get on with it, maybe a couple of people will listen to their message but as it stands I'm listening about this in the news and reading about it in all the local forums!
