Could I just make clear that I was not querying the decision not to award a try to Thornley,though it looked wrong,but that I cannot understand why he then gave a penalty to us.A neutral i.e. Hull f.c. supporter has suggested that there must have been a foul by Leigh followed by a foul by Cats before the grounding ,but there is no evidence of either.On the Video Anderson looks 2 metres onside for the first disallowed try . I accept that Duport-my bete -noir -did not ground the ball.Thanks for accepting that we were the better team.It costs me a hell of a lot in money and nerves to support this lot and I had nearly given up on them. Well ! Gigot is French and he was our best player. After that I would go Myler,Wiliame Thornley,but then Bousquet and Baitieri. In general ,however, you do have a point.We are not keeping,as distinct from producing, a number of good players---Fages,Springer and Navarette come to mind-I am not bothered about the others.We have a good u19 team ,which may assist in due course.
