Drinkwater is playing for a SL gig, promising Aussies of his age don't come over for the affinity of the club. Hope we sign him up, but he won't play in the champ next year IMO.

Reckon Leigh will be the team and club to be at regardless of league..Players and pay days are either part of it or not.Bought time people started getting on board with that,instead of what they think will be.

It's sad when departing leythers are bitter but this has been a very unusual season in which a new team has had to be created. I cannot see Derek gambling his investment on too many players who will not be with us next year so the next few days should be interesting with the remaining few who will be off to Toronto, yes Johnny we know who they are, playing a support role in the 8's. I wish all leythers could leave with the dignity of Chris hill, as the club paid the wages and supported them during their tenure.
It's almost time for the real thing and I for one can't wait, as whoever pulls on the jersey or owns the club or coaches us is a custodian of OUR club, built by our forefathers for their children and generations to come. Stay strong and let's get behind this band of brothers as we take on Goliath head on.

Of the players that are joining Toronto to date, I would say only one would I have personally taken to SL perhaps. Hardly detrimental to our future prosperity.
We will have better players within our ranks next season than those stepping down a division. The future is bright. Very bright.
