According to their rlWEBSITErl, they are on the UK/Irish leg of their European Tour from 8-11 Feb (they play Glasgow on Sat.11/02).
What do you reckon the chances are of getting them to the LSV on the Sunday for our 'opener' against Barrow???
They'd have to do it for nowt (well,we could offer 'em a few free bowls o lobby!!), but if it took off as our anthem, they'd shift a few CD's and downloads off the back of it!!.......and increased ticket sales for their next British gigs as well!!!! 
Great publicity for them and us - give 'em shirts/scarves etc, and get 'em spreading the RL word back in the States!! |

I did have a feeling they were touring as when I posted the link on Facebook a mate said he was going watching them (I'll be honest and say I'd never heard of them until stumbling across this track on YouTube tonight).
Not a bad shout at all though!!

R random thought here - Apart from the film soundtracks, pretty much alll the tracks suggested are 'old' records. There's a very up and coming Leigh band called Jerimiah Ferrari who are getting a lot of lower end media attention.
The material they record is very catchy and generally upbeat.
I've a good contact with them, it may be worth approaching them to do something next time they're in the studio? I've a feeling I read they were ramping up to cut an album shortly.
That's as far as the idea has got, but I've this sort of ska/calypso version of 'Entrance Of The Gladiators' running round in my head, which they'd carry off if they could be convinced....

Jonny for personal reasons (only you know why) it has to be queen and we will rock you!! On a personal note my football club has had its own song since 1958 and still today when I hear it on the terraces or on cd it makes every hair on my body stand on end.

Bouncing Souls were a bit crap last time they toured by all accounts, and their somewhat cliched US understanding of Irish/UK relationships got them bottled off a stage or two if I heard right.
Can't see them quite appreciating The Flute Song somehow.
