Those two points can contradict given our current situation Fred , yes Ian may well have a good [ by Championship standards ] contract that the club would have no choice but to honour if he wanted to stay
But if that was to put an unworkable burden on the clubs finances for next year and beyond , then it doesn't essentially work as a positive
Well paid coach = poorly paid players or less well paid coach = better paid players
Unfortunate , but understandable |

Well paid coach
I think would expect less well paid coach = players paid the same and look at it as money saved.

There's been lots of things that could have wrecked this season but this set of players havn't let it. Hope they're strong enough to get through this. |

Give me this years squad to coach , against an Ian Millward coached under 18's , and I might just get a few better results , but only a few  |
