I think the only logical way to do it would be to leave a section soley used for the reserved seats.

Well if somebody is sat in your seat number you ask them to move

Like the Barcelona fans did to me back in 2006 despite the top tier being only a quarter full

All seats are still given a number , the stewards request that you sit in your alloted seat until the game starts , if there are then seats available and you want to move , you can move

Tight beggers them Catalans. I,m surprised Barcelona FC let them get away with sharing a seat though. Can,t see the LSV letting it happen in their stadium unless they have a meeting.Suppose thats multi occupancy a la Catalana.

When you get a ST for your reserved seat, this ticket has your seat number on it, the system knows that the seat is yours along with every other person with a reserved seat.
When someone turns up, rings up, sends a letter for a ticket in the stand they are given a ticket with a seat number on it , they produce this ticket and a steward will show them to their seat which will not be a seat that has been allocated to a season ticket holder.
If the person is not happy with the seat allocated he/she can move to a more suitable seat as designated by the steward at a designated time.

I repeat, if you pay your money up front you should get priority.

That will be fun at , say 1min to KO when 500 want to move to another seat There'll be a mad rush for the best seats.

Maybe the cheif steward could blow a whistle and then they play the Benny Hill music over the tannoy whilst folk move. If you've not found a seat you like by the end of the record then you have to sit at the side of the pitch with your legs and arms crossed.

All reserved seating in the East Stand - all tickets for the East stand carry a £5 surcharge to cover the cost of extra stewarding.

West Stand remains unreserved.

Simples!!
