So they have a problem , nobodys going to risk chucking a load of dosh at an expansion club in the near future but they also have the problem of lop sided fixtures and gaps in the playing season causing financial problems

The Bramley chairman also made a point of saying they wanted to take the club forward and how the Farsley ground wasn't up to standard but that it is now along with the snippets I posted earlier. At Farsley Celtic the sale of the club is pending with a new offer, involving new financial backers being considered. I am quite happy to take those little hints along with a PM or two to keep me smiling, at least until the end of September anyway.

Workington's ground is getting on and in need of repairs just like the old Hilton Park was but unfortunately we haven't got a council that is willing to build a nice new stadium for us to play in, so it will have to be done bit by bit, sorry if that puts you off from coming. |

When did the council build us a new ground? 
FWIW I quite like old traditional grounds and dont really care if they dont have baby chaging facilties and 20 foot wide telly's. Batley and Haven for example just wouldnt be the same if they were levelled and rebuilt. |

So why are Allerdale Council looking at plans to build a new stadium to be shared by Town and Reds? |
