I couldn't understand who knocked it back for playing in it this season, was it the French Federation, Toulouse Oly or the RFL  |

The agreement was that they would play in the French Cup, but the other French sides voted them out of it - obviously they (the rest of the French sides) hadn't been told the 'benefits' to them of having a team in the English Championship.
