Over 50 years of pain,pleasure,frustration,joy,heartache and ecstasy that supporting Leigh has given me but I would not swop it.: |

We would of course miss the massive away followings that we have had this season!!!!!
Not good but not a disaster,we had little chance of getting a Franchise next in my opinion. I'm still convinced the goal posts will be moved yet again and none of the teams currently in SL will be relegated unless of course they go out of business.
You reap what you sow and we gambled on an inexperienced squad this year and unfortunately its not worked, but several of the players will develop into good ones and its up to the board to keep them and build up a team again. |

The best bit of news coming out the club for years.
Time for the club to reform , rebuild and get back up as the best club outside SL (which it had been consistantly more or less since day 1 ) and add further to it by being the club SL couldn't afford to turn away.
To be honest if he gets the players playing for Leigh giving 100% week in week out then I and many other Leythers will be very very happy regardless of Champ 1 , 2 or SL.
