I'm in no position to judge Jamie. He has qualities and abilities that I never had or reached as a player. I can say however that no matter what my opinion is of him as a player, Leigh Centurions need players that can perform at the best of their ability on the field. He has consistently shown over several years that cannot be relied upon to do this because he cannot be relied upon to stay on the field.
For me we need to find a prop before the deadline and plan on Jamie not being selected even after what ever suspension ends. We will not win a game in the 8s with 12 men on the field.
I've seen the game, and regardless of my opinion or anyone else's as to how forceful the contact was, one thing I beleive is undesputable is that the contact was totally unnecessary.
Also a player went to hospital because of that contact.
