Oh how very droll. No these were real people singing, some of them were also saying the crowd looked bigger than the stated figure...............some who didn't sing also thought the crowd was bigger.
What would you have guessed about the crowd (if you saw it)

Edit, Just looking on LCtv now the stand don't look 2/3rds full as I first thought. a lot of Leigh fans changed ends after half time so I was estimating them twice..............still heard the flute though

Regarding this singing of obscenities, is it just Me or what because when the chants start up ,I have to listen very carefully as I cant tell a bloody word that they're singing about, so I have to ask someone what they are singing, and the usual reply is "dunno mate not a bloody clue."

I think your right there Lynda, most people who do sing when that "Tune" starts is what you sing. I think the tune and chant is quite catchy and I join in but don't use wig@n and the ira. It may only be a handful who use these words but because it has become synonymous now when some folk hear it they just assume everyone singing must be idiots

Yep that's where it came from, as I said only a few and in the whole scheme of things not really significant (mountain molehill)

It was the Rochdale club to blame. When they scored well into the second half they played the flute tune and our lads then joined in - may not have been sung otherwise.
