Much happier after that 1 st half display , we played with confidence and did indeed off load more in the opening ten than we have all season

If we can play that way for the rest of the season we should not be troubling Hunslet next year

We must be looking for something next week up at Barrow as Batley dont play , it would be a massive boost to move back above them

It's a big ask, but Barrow have lost three of their last four, and four of their last six, plus they've sacked Brocklehurst, who was a big influence. So, if we play like we did for 60-65 minutes yesterday, we'll give Barrow something to think about. Certainly, when we played them at home, Barrow looked very ordinary for the first 40 minutes - although the second 40, they were rather good!

It was interesting to hear PR after the game. He reckons we play well against teams who keep it tighter, and (usually!) score from close range - i.e. Widnes and Sheffield, but need to come to terms with teams who don't play that style - i.e. Barrow and Halifax.

Far too much consideration of the opposition sometimes , Good RL is good RL , play it and you win , dont play it and you lose

RL is a very simple game complicated by coaches at times , Cullen being the perfect example

It would be great to play say 'Fax and just go out and score for fun but, unfortunately you ned to stop them scoring too! Isn't their philosophy, 'you score 40 and we'll score 50'? (although this season it's been 'you score 10 and we'll score 50'!

Having seen them lose 56-40 at Fev the other week, I imagine Gateshead share the same philosophy

Barrow this week is a very winnable game, oh and by the way when we win we will be 6 points off them! Such a close league. What nobody will want now is to go on a losing run of 4 games anybody bar the top 3 will be relegated if they do!
