I find him comical Cherry. Shares similar attributes to how Leigh fans use to be (myself included) on the ride. Only thing is we all met ourselves on the way back.

No offence taken, I've heard such comments before but the facts make a logical person beg to differ. Just look at the stats./math don't lie.
If you tally Rowleys record as a pro coach just look at the won/lost including his time at Leigh/Toronto and beforehand. The winning per centage number is very, very high. Could well be the highest of all active League coaches in the world! Bottom line is that its a pro sport and you are in it to win it. Hard to argue with his winning stat numbers.

Just to let you know, Paul Rowley is very highly thought of in Toronto. His standard of dress, deportment, and interactions with the fans is of the highest and most dignified order. Those are the facts, and, "NO, I am not Paul Rowleys brother....I totally deny it!"

It is true and was indeed very brave. I'm not sure what it had to do with his integrity or coaching ability though. In fact, the longer this thread goes on, the more confused I become, over what it is all about, anyway!

Its about a big thing, an important thing. I've read all of the threads and people seem to be calling his character into question, both on and off the field. many insults, both personal and professional, have been directed his way.

Some might not like him but his actions on that day, saving the young girl, gives us a direct snapshot and insight into his character....I think he is a standup type guy; I think he is being unfairly demonized.

Toronto is a new beginning for him and his family and he has met the challenge. I think its time for all the Leigh fans to let the Rowley era, both on and off the field, go. Do it not for him but rather yourselves; do it for your Club!
