No I didn't say the Ref , I said " both officials " , read it again if you like , ' both officials ' being the touch judge and the in goal judge , the ref was also quite close but those two had the better view , so how many pairs of eyes only a few feet away got it wrong compared to some body either sat in the stand or through a recording over 50 yards away actuall behind the player ' scoring ' and the defenders ?

Ok but you did not in the post I read say which officials you were talking about. Yes I assumed that the referee was one of them. In any case it is the referee who makes the decision. Your assumption that the officials got it right is still open to doubt even though it is more likely that two pairs of eyes close by are better than one pair further away.

Many mistakes are seen by the crowd that are missed by the three at least officials. Even when there is a video ref and the benefit of slow motion they still make mistakes that are obvious to everyone else.

Right 1 st , I was at the game , but was a 100 + metres away from both incidents , I have however watched the Catalan produced TV highlights , in both incidents the touch and in goal judges are just a few feet away , so I am willing to accept their judgement before mine , if the try's had been given I would have accepted it

Could I just make clear that I was not querying the decision not to award a try to Thornley,though it looked wrong,but that I cannot understand why he then gave a penalty to us.A neutral i.e. Hull f.c. supporter has suggested that there must have been a foul by Leigh followed by a foul by Cats before the grounding ,but there is no evidence of either.On the Video Anderson looks 2 metres onside for the first disallowed try . I accept that Duport-my bete -noir -did not ground the ball.Thanks for accepting that we were the better team.It costs me a hell of a lot in money and nerves to support this lot and I had nearly given up on them. McNally deserves the chance to prove himself, defensively weak I'll give you, takes the high ball pretty well but offers quite a lot in attack

Yes there must have been a foul by Leigh for the Cats to get the penalty , probably given by the touch judge

I disagree on the 1 st try , after watching the video he is clearly a yard offside , either way it matters not what I or you saw , it wasn't given end of
