You'd think it would be simple - a rule that states no signings/departures to be announced until after Grand Finals. The problem seems to emanate from this 'social media' thingy - someone posts that they are on the move and, hey presto, their millions of followers receive it, pass it on, and before you know it, everyone on the planet knows! (except me, 'cos I don't know what Twitter and Facebook are, let alone how to use them!

Maybe marwan is in for him. Check the advance racing declarations for a horse named Sam Barlow. I noticed he had named one of his horses rangi chase which appeared in the racing lists long before the odficial announcement came. Cash and the arrogance to go with it.

Bracek would be a superb signing for any team in this division. That was my comment about a year ago.

I interpreted Bracek being mentioned above in the context of being officially (note officially) announced as a Leigh signing.

Didn't we also announce the signing of an Australian stand off a few years ago that also evidently back fired on us?

Anyway, the lesson here is that at a time when we are lauding a new wave of professionalism and skills at the club, we need to be much more diligent when timing and releasing official information on signings or risk further embarrassment.
