Mo, all this Spin Doctoring of the gate won't alter anything ,yeah a few will be missing because of various other games,of the round ball variety, but I know 6 Leythers who are going tomorrow who haven't been for a while,and I spoke to a guy from Golborne this morning who has never been to the LSV he watches SL games ie,Wigan, Warrington, Saints ,and Salford when they are at home, he told me he was going tomorrow and would buy 2 Season Tickets next year if we get into SL,my point being folk will follow Leigh as momentum builds.
If we do get into SL next year ,we must set targets of around 5000 to 6000 as an average gate.

Ye I agree but the clubs already got their money so the turn up on the day fan is a bonus and if u really had a leigh season ticket there is no way I would miss this game with a massive chance of promotion for a game of football that is only at the beginning of their season and there's another 30 games left to play

Jools , it's a massive game for Leigh , because if Leigh win , we are in SL,HKR have already lost 2 games,and a Leigh win would mean Hudds have lost 2, then the last week of the 8's HKR and Hudds play each other, meaning one team must end up losing 3 games and end up on 8 points putting them in the MPG with Salford , a Leigh win would give us 10 points, so YES tomorrow's game is massive.

Comparing Leigh's crowd for one game with average attendances for a SL team is ridiculous, especially for a game against a team with poor attendances.

We would expect minimum 6-7k crowds against the likes of Wigan, Saints, Warrington, and that's without years in SL to build a fan base.

We had 7.5k on against Bradford last season - amazing how a large away following makes a difference!

I think what Mozza meant is that the MUFC & MCFC season ticket holders would not make it back to Leigh for K.O !

FWIW, I live in Atherton which is United mad & has a large Leigh Centurions following too, many will be at the Manchester derby, some will be caught with split loyalties.

Like the Golborne lad mentioned who says he will buy 2 Season tickets if we are promoted to SL, so will I, this regardless of the fact that I can only attend just over half our Home games due to work. My Season ticket money will help King Degsy (to be crowned [iIF[/i we get to Super Dooper League) to finance the Club further, I do my bit elsewhere where not attending by subscribing to LCTV.

I think the Giants fans attending will be a generally nice bunch of passionate RL supporters & should be made very welcome in our little Town.
