That was the idea Leonardo. As a fan of the club it was the one thing I could bring to the table in their hour of need and though Maurice thinks otherwise, the broadcasts have been successful. We bring in listeners who aren't necessarily fans of Leigh or our opposition, just rugby fans who listen in because it's live rugby.

We, as a club, get very little air time on the BBC and as we had the facility we just wanted to help the club to build their profile.

Also it was a great opportunity for our fantastic commentator Dave Parkinson to commentate to a wider audience.

Like I said earlier, if people would rather we didn't have this service then we will stop.

Leigh Life radio is a godsend to us exiled fans. A trip to Leigh for me is a 500 mile round trip and I'm getting too owd to do that too often. So - keep up the good work!

We need about £100k pa from the board to be close to reaching our potential, if you can't be a part of that then you shouldn't be a part of the decision making process. You know what Maurice you're absolutely right, so like I said earlier I think the current BOD should do one and shut up shop until these mystical beasts with 100k pa to 'invest' appear from over the horizon.

You're wrong. If only people who tipped in significant cash should be running the club, then I'm afraid nobody would be running the club. You assume these willing investors exist, but the evidence is to the contrary.

If you know better, then please, help make it happen. Nothing would make me happier than having our club financially stable with a strong and experienced board of directors.
