I find this post a Tad disrespectful if I'm honest to the board as a whole considering many people have worked very hard for the cause a casing point being Steve Openshaw who has probably worked harder and done more for the club than any of us this last 12 months.

We are all in this together are we not?

Trying not to fly off the handle into a foul mouthed tirade of abuse at some of the posters on this thread, I'm just going to have to sit back and wonder if there are really people on the otherside of these usernames or if it's just one big conspiracy to wind me up.

It's the most depressing place in the world sometimes this place, it really is.

John Roddy, thanks for the great work you've done in the last 12 months or so, unbelievable how far we've come since then. Ignore the cretins, and hope you still come along for the ride, I'm sure we're all still in VERY safe hands with the current BOM. All the best in the future, and in whatever it is you're doing.

To be honest I still think this stinks. A professional businessman like John Roddy would not resign seemingly on the spot, announce it himself on Twitter and catch the other members of the BoM on the hop. This doesn't ring true. He would at least give a week's notice of his intent, time to get out a united statement.

We most certainly are and no disrespect was intended.

If you check back on one of the posts on the earlier pages from here (via Maurice) you will see that JR informed the BoM last week of his intentions, so didn't 'catch them on the hop'. There's never a good time or manner in which to announce these things. Let's focus on the fact that the club, as a whole, is in a much stronger position than it was when JR first became involved with the rest of the current BoM. The club is strong and united, the BoM are strong and united. Let's move on and get behind the lads on Sunday at Dewsbury!
