He will be not far out with the LISA figure , we've given them 30k so far this season, with more contributions to be given before the seasons over................

| Superb work that Lynda.
Good to get back on topic too, stop the bickering on here, it's ruining the whole forum. We all want the same thing, if you disagree with what someone says can we not be polite about it?

That's why I said 'some' of the figures.
The reason for my reply is that because some of those figures are there or thereabouts some people might actually think all those figures are based on fact when in reality most of them are a figment of Maurice's fertile imagination.

| As things stand and despite various obsticles and learning curves, The Touchdown Club which is run soley by non paid volunteers from outside of the Club expects generate in the region of £35k in its first year.
This is total income via its membership scheme, corporate and sponsored events. Out of this we have to pay for tickets, meals, shirts, etc but still expect to generate a reasonable profit for the Club that wasn't there before.
Hopefully next season we can look to tweeking our format and increase membership, we are already discussing ways to do so.
We shall certainly be taking notice of what feedback we're getting from members and look to both improve the TDC and grow further. By continuing to bring in new people and businesses, plus the increasing valued assistance from LSV, this should give the Commercial Department the opportunity then to 'up-sell' further by tempting our members into various sponsorship packages.

| To be honest LISA should have just been tweeked to include a corporate membership as like us the Touchdown club is run by volunteers and we only have only 5 committee members who run LISA.
This is why its been difficult, we all after all want whats best for the club. Some LISA members pay £20 and £30 a month and maybe they would like to be able to attend meals and the benefits the Touchdown Club get before games etc, just a thought.

| It's certainly something that could be discussed, the minor stumbling block is for meals we need numbers 2 or 3 days beforehand but maybe we can discuss something together for next season.
The Club already have good value upgrade packages to Season Ticket holders for match day meals etc.

| They sure do....
I sampled this at the Dewsbury game. I upgraded for just £9. It was the Curry night, I was in a box and got a meal for just £9 extra.
I think we need to look after the fans that pay into the club week after week, whether it be touchdown or LISA.
I going to contact the LSv at TRevors suggestion to see what discounts etc they could offer LISA members, think this is something that should be looked at, way I see it going is that we are going to really struggle to get more then 2000 through the turnstyles in this league.
This is way the club can inprove their chances of a SL Licence.
We need to generate more income thats not reliant on the weather and the day we play.
WE need the fans to back the club, the Stadium and the council to back the club too for it to work.
We need some serious marketing doing, even if this means spending £10000 less on playing budgets, lets build the club from the bottom make it viable withOUT a Sugar Daddy.
Look at the situation a lot of the SL clubs will be in when their Sugar Daddy walks away.

| I will be looking into this for LISA members next season for those who would like the corporate bit, bear in mind any money you pay into LISA monthly we make a monthly payment to the club for the players contracts we sponser. Depends on how you want to help the CLub really!
Why not stay a LISA member change your dd to £5 a month and join the Bronze Touchdown club Jimmy85, this is what a lot of LISA members have done so you still get benefits you get like cheap coaches etc etc you can still have and also any others that I can get.

| As WAS SAID at the AGM meeing the last thing we need is everyone to start dropping out as being a member of LISA or the TOuchdown Club IT IS as important now as it ever was, those who think that everything is great and we are out of all the money trouble etc are wrong, we still will have a lot of hard work to do to turn it all around, so keep your money coming.
PS how would the club have managed over the last fews weeks with no home games ie no income without the contributionS LISA and other s have given to the Club, we gave them a cheque for £7000 at the LISA meeting the other week......

Hi Mish, figures were made up to emphasise 'targets' by income stream based upon a goal of £750k. Its not rocket science to be there or thereabouts, just a way our business should be run and targeted imo for us to move forward.
It was designed to identify how important pounds through the gate is, and how stupid freebies are unless they are covered. We need constructive criticism, ownership and unity if we truly beLEIGHve. 2013 will be about income generation and we need it in place NOW!! If we get it right we will be in SL soon.

| Both LISA and the Touchdown Club have done amazingly well to bring in extra income so well done to all concerned because God knows where we'd be without you.
