| I buy my season ticket and maybe a shirt and that is it. The little I did spend in the LSV has gone to zero since it went cashless.
Good attendance, we do need more of it to keep the income ticking over and I do like the opinions of the fair-weather fans I was suddenly surrounded by on Friday, their coaching ability nous and keen eyes will be need as we get further into the season.

| Fortunately for you Deekos or maybe unfortunately for the club, the fairweather fans who you never see when they are in the Championship will soon fade away and Leigh will be left with a core support of about 4500 in SL or 3500 when in Championship. The pricing structure will deter any new fans. DB will eventually get fed up of the crowds staying stagnant and in the future I think, as a businessman, he will try to relocate them to a large city as a franchise to fit in with IMGs plans and where he will have more chance of large crowds and more profit. In the future, you may even see Leigh Leopards rebranded as London Leopards. As a businessman, I would definitely go for it. He will be assured of a SL place.

London would be a great place for a successful and vibrant crowd pulling rugby team - can’t imagine why nobody has though about it before

Graham , in my opinion you won’t see a re location of a Leigh team , it wouldn’t be Leigh , hence no Leigh fans would watch , I applaud Derek for the atmosphere he helped create on Friday , it was electric , and yes expensive , I bought a programme , because of the Historic effect, the Leopards 1st game , I won’t buy another one though , as I said I’m not sure the price of pies and hotdogs , we had something to eat at the on site Hotel , it was good and reasonably priced , I’m teetotal but would t pay 5 pound a bottle for lager anyway, and the cashless system is putting fans off , I heard a few complain about this .
Derek is a businessman , and very successful , but again I think he has made a mistake by allowing only Platinum and Black package members into Legends Bar .
I don’t think people will drop off attending if we keep losing , the match day experience was very good , and I saw a lot of young families at the game , engaging with the young ladies dressed as Leopards and Leeto , folk said the Leopard concept wouldn’t be accepted but it has been , I can’t wait for the next 2 home games Saints and Wigan , both should be crowd pullers , as has been said it’s our choice to buy or not the programmes and lager , I think the white and gold packages are value for money , but I do understand your reasons for not attending .

LSV charging £5 for a bottle of lager and whoever sets the £5 programme price and the £24 senior admission price is taking the p155. If people are daft enough to pay it that's up to them. I can't afford it nor can I afford the season ticket price so choose not to. Seniors should definitely get a cheaper concession.'"
If you don’t have a pot to wee wee in then expensive is a different number to many others more well off. Our pricing is about right until we get a central contract of about £5m, also many retired folk have greater disposable than a young family. Thankfully many folk want a RL club so choose to spend their disposable accordingly, can’t understand why fans take a pop at others keeping their club alive for them though. Have a look at a V1 on Saturday afternoon, kids living with parents for far longer and the 50+ living with little or no mortgage. The 30-40 with kids are the age being squeezed

Well it’s clear the circles you mix in Mo with some of those comments, 50+ with little or no mortgage , and pensioners have to survive on less than £200/week (your definition of retired may well be different of course), not everyone is in the same boat as yourself - however like you say it’s all about choices

What world are you living in Maurice? Ask the families or seniors with little income facing monthly fuel bills of £400-£500 plus inflated food prices. You've obviously more money than sense and think everyone can afford the inflated prices at LSV.
And in response to others DB has already hinted that the Leopards are a brand who can play anywhere. That's the point isn't it. If DB sees them being called the Leopards he can base them anywhere. He's edging his bets because the future is unsure with IMG. He's a successful businessman and if he sees the need to relocate the Leopards to a large city in order to stay in SL and make a large profit, then sentiment won't come into it. It will be business decision and Leigh as a RL club based in Leigh will have to start again. I'm just being realistic. It is a scenario that may very well happen.

| I've just being comparing ticket prices for different clubs, and Leigh appear to be significantly more expensive than others for a basic match day ticket.
I'm not sure how the season tickets work at Leigh as i couldn't find an annual price just a monthly one (is that over 8 months?), but they also seem to be far more than every other club in the League.
I guess Derek's lopard skin coats are expensive and he is passing the cost on.

So the cheapest season ticket is £300, and the most expensive is £1200?
Wow. Most expensive in the league by a longshot then. Are they delusional?

I did the same survey a few weeks ago with the same results. We are the most expensive, along with your team Leeds for seniors. They priced me out, Luke, and I've supported them through thick and thin since the 60s. £24 for a senior concession standing. Disgusting. Kids concessions are excellent though, but I do wonder how many more have been priced out and it will be difficult to attract new supporters in large numbers who have to pay the full price.

| £20 monthly membership gets a pensioner every home league game. Not a bad deal IMO, and easily the best way to pay for entry.

| I'm currently unemployed on UC and I've made a membership my first priority after living costs. It's the only 'luxury' I can (barely) afford. I don't drink, I can't afford to socialise except at matches. My Dad has recently gone on State Pension with no additional income and he's got a £5/month cheaper membership as well a substantially higher income than I do, and he is helping me with the cost.
It's tough for a lot of people, I know that from firsthand experience, but a couple of quid here or there is not likely to make going to the game much more feasible, especially with the prices of everything going up so frequently. If £2 or £3 makes the difference then you're not likely to be able to afford to go in a month or two anyway.
It's a horrible reality, but this country is currently a mess, prioritising corporate greed over supporting those who really need it and far too many people are in desperate hardship.

At a time where the sport is actively looking to grow it's fanbase, it seems very shortsighted to be pricing fans out of the market. Especially when RL has always been a working class sport. I suppose the attendances figures going forward will show accurate the pricing is.
I'm surprised you found Leeds to be at the top of the pile for ticket pricing. I thought they were middle of the road price wise. This article would put us in the middle of the pack, and my season ticket (Adult South Stand Terrace) is lower than the quoted price, at £233.
How many months is that over though? If it is over 12, as some have suggested, that makes it £240 (more than my non-concession season ticket) which equates to £18.5 per home game. That's still more than some grounds match day concession prices. Miss three games, and you are at the gate price at Leigh anyway.
The RFL/IMG need to bring back regulation of ticket prices. I know not all clubs have an equal amount of match day expenses, but when you get long time fans being priced out of watching games something is wrong.
