| Why are folks suddenly surprised that we won't have any Sunday home games. Its not long ago that we experienced SL and the Thursday and Friday ko . Far better than a Monday night on PS IMHO.

| Yeah, I'm not surprised, would prefer a few Thursdays and no Saturdays but maybe it will be the dreaded *all fixtures are subject to change* with minimum notice.
You could always try and book your wedding and party events for those dates to try and get the matches moved to a Sunday, it seemed to happen last season.

| The below fixture list that was compiled in Excel won't look pretty on RLFans but should be copy & pastable into Excel or Google Sheets etc for easier reading. Home opposition are capitalized:
Rnd Date Oppos
1 17 Feb SALFORD
2 25 Feb catalans
3 3 Mar hull kr
4 10 Mar ST HELENS
5 17 Mar warrington
6 25 Mar hull fc
7 30 Mar WIGAN
R 8 Apr SALFORD
9 16 Apr wakefield
10 21 Apr LEEDS
11 5 May CASTLEFORD
12 12 May huddersfield
13 26 May WARRINGTON
MW 4 Jun wakefield
15 9 Jun HULL FC
16 24 Jun catalans
17 30 Jun HULL KR
18 7 Jul castleford
19 16 Jul salford
20 28 Jul wigan
21 6 Aug leeds
22 19 Aug CATALANS
23 25 Aug hull kr
24 1 Sep HUDDERSFIELD
25 8 Sep st helens
26 15 Sep WAKEFIELD
27 22 Sep WIGAN
There will be three “Battles of the Busway”; two at LSV. LEIGH’s Magic Weekend Oppo is Wakefield. We also play Catalans three times (twice in Perpignan)*, as we do Hull KR (twice away) and The Pie-Eaters (twice at LSV).
Due to the pitch at LSV being re-laid, Leigh will have no home fixtures between June 30th and August 19th.
Bongser at your service.
* Should Leigh be no longer involved in The Challenge Cup by that stage don't be surprised if DB flies the squad out to the South of France for the best part of a fortnight!

| Seems it's not pastable into Excel; it's lost its columnization. Still, any Leyther wanting a the spreadsheet please just PM Bongser an email address.

I’m not even sure what a spreadsheet is , or if it’s any use ,it must be the wrong way looking at these .

| Pricing away fans out as well. Friday night at £30 a pop won’t be enticing many for the dreaded M62 Friday car park. I will be certainly giving it a miss. Sorry.

| Ridiculous price £30. Lots of away fans will boycott that price. Cheaper to stay home and watch on SKY if on. I reckon on 5-6000 average crowds when he could have filled the place with a more realistic price in these difficult economic times which are only going to get extremely bad when the dollar and the world economy collapses as predicted. 2008 collapse going to look like a picnic compared to what's on the horizon.

Agree that £30 is a expensive amount for a ticket but isn’t that only for tickets bought on the day, with it being £27 bought prior .

10% off any ticket not bought on the day, including tickets sold through other clubs.

Assumed so, thanks for the clarification. I’ve not looked at ticket costs for our away days but would imagine that they would all be around this mark give it take a few quid here and there.

In fairness, WYS, we didn't even fill the place for the free entry promotion party against Batley in 2016.
£27 pre-purchase is still up £4 on most games last season even though we have the full central funding this coming season. Forget visiting fans for a moment. The problem is attracting inquisitive irregulars from these parts - impulse attendance on the day after sniffing the weather will not be encouraged by a £30 price tag!
If we assume that the majority of the home supporters will be "card-carrying members", would the club be financially better off with 1,000 stroll-ups @ £30 or 2,000 stroll-ups @ last season's price of £23?
£30K or £46K + an extra 1,000 engaged fans?
Yes the stroll-up numbers are randomly picked but the point is still valid.
When Bongser can get to a home game, he'll stump up the £30. He'll save the extra £7 and more easily by being "barred" from The Legends' Bar before and after games!

| I checked the Pies website and the touch lines seats are £30 at Pieland Stadium. I guess that is the market we are in. I did gasp at £30 but somehow £27 seems more reasonable.

| Take your point B&B but we have a far superior team this time round. I reckon they could have averaged 7-8000, especially with players like Ipape, Amone, Asiata, Ferguson and Lam.
Will this new price plan entice or deter those lost fans who only watch us when we get to SL, plus visiting away fans. I think a lot of away fans will stay away.
I just think they could have come up with a fairer price. Some years ago, I did a small bit sponsoring at Leigh but I went for looking after the supporters. For 3 away games, I put on 1 free coach for supporters. I always believe if you look after your customers they will keep coming back. Sadly, in today's world, most sporting clubs would rather look after their corporate guests than real supporters. I understand it, it's a business and DB is a very successful businessman who is bringing the good times back for which I applaud him. He is looking after corporate and young new fans which will obviously ensure future growth. I will have to wait for my crypto coins to take off then I can buy the LSV!! Watch this space lol
