League leaders, first club to win promotion via middle 8's, victorys against Wigan saints Wire and hull in SL amongst others, 6500 average gate higher than championship winning season, virtually no debt outside director loan - pretty damn good return for a club of our size

You seem very positive and well informed about the clubs debts I am sure many fans on here would be very grateful if you could give us a breakdown and also inform us why the accounts due September 30th 2018 for the period up to December 31st 2017 now marked overdue by Companies House have not been submitted. |

I hate the words Whipping Boys, but unfortunately it looks like we will be the team everyone looks forward to playing next season.
This week's League Express features every Championship Club and who they are signing for next year, our small feature looks at our departures,it seems we targeted 3 Swinton players but all decided to sign again for Swinton.And KP is again reported to be interesting Widnes.My question is what players will be left for us to sign?It's frightening.

Mo ,I admire your eternal optimism,,and I know as a bloke you are a decent person, who I would never knock,you must think I'm the eternal pessimist,but to most our position at the moment isn't good,Fans won't any commitment till they can see some light.
They see as we all do our competitors signing players and making plans for next season,the Championship is only like SL for players, ie only so many available,last season we had more than a decent squad of players and couldn't make the top 4 , this season it will be much harder with every Club strengthening, yet we haven't got a player signed up yet, so we will be a new squad playing together for the first time, again given as one of the main reasons for last season's failures.
DB or whoever is in charge will have a very hard job getting them to gel, and them compete,that can't be done by not spending money, surely our Central Funding money will be more than the Club's who finished below us,yet it seems we are still behind the 8 ball.Again I admire your optimism, but Im not convinced.  |
