We've now tried Brown, Hampshire, McNally and Reynolds at full back, (no Ridyard, please note! ) which is a key position, both on defence and attack. For me, Brown has been the most solid, but it looks like, in Tonga's continued absence, he will be needed at centre. Sounds like full back would be the best place for Evalds.

When's Tonga back? Need his experience on the pitch

In addition, when is Brown back - even without Tonga reckon he could go to FB with Hampshire or Naughton on the wing, Dawson seems to have done ok at centre

I posted a thread on here some weeks ago that we should make enquiries about him - when I had noticed he had been playing for Halifax on loan. He would be a great signing for us - he has real pace and an excellent full back.

We didn't resign Tonga. He signed on an initial 2 year contract.

I meant to say we should have never signed him ,missed loads of games through injury

Season before we signed Tonga he played 19 SL games for Catalans despite suffering a broken jaw other than that he missed one game - some injury risk?? Should we have not signed Woody because he broke his leg in 85? missing most of the season as well
