Its a vey disturbing case. Rangi was trying to get away from the thugs. He jumped into the rear of a min bus but a well known nutter jumped in after him. His mates shut the door and blocked Rangi's escape while the thug beat him to a pulp. He also bit lumps out of his face, shoulder and arm so there is no way that he would have played this weekend.

Just seen a piece where it says he is facing the sack for assaulting someone in a taxi queue after trying to jump in front. Says that the chairman has already spoken to the fella and apologised with a view to sorting things amicably but the man wants it taking further.

People who where there at the time, who HATE Rangi, and support other clubs etc, say he REALLY was set upon, and tried to walk away!
As for Liam's injury, just put two and two together..............

I think you will find it could be two incidents especially as one of the players mentioned here was 'injured' around 3 weeks ago and Chase has played since then. Wasn't it said it was Saturday just gone or am I mistaken

Bongser is not suggesting for an instant that this is relevant to this thread.Then again, his posts seldom are.

After the Cas performance last night and ours tonight, Bongser regrets still more the missed opportunity against Leeds. Good performance tonight. Wish we hadn't been nilled but we were playing World Champs. New Leigh team starting to gel. Had the pah ayters rattled if they began attempting drops so early. Bongser had more than a few drops earlier. He wasn't rattled. He is raddled. Better conversion rate on his drop conversion then.
