Great to see J. Duffy back in a Leigh shirt. Always plays with passion and gives his all. Provides an extra dimension to the side and am sure he will prove to be one of our most important players.

Personally I wasn't convinced about re-signing Duffy this season, but boy is he showing what he can do. Been awesome recently, absolutely worked his socks off and seems to have kept his fitness level right up there. Phenomenal effort so far and with performances like this I'm more than happy to keep eating my words..... Brilliant John, keep it coming....

Duffy has the opposing team on the back foot constantly. He picks the ball up as he begins to move from acting halfback in one fluid and very quick movement. He is into his stride before the markers can move. Very impressed !

always gives 100% and adds dimenstion to our attack

Played well last night. Good effort by all concerned backing up after the game in France on Friday. I thought Batley played pretty well in patches and was more impressed with our defence than our attack at times because we'd have caved in last season under such pressure.

Was it me or did Leuluai warm up but never play a part? If he did come on I apologise but don't remember seeing him lol

I think that both our hookers are playing very well at the moment. Jock doing an awfull lot of graft sets up a great stage for John to run the opposition ragged. Two good hookers and good settled halfbacks have given this team another dimmension. The pack are hungry for work and the options we are showing in the oppositions last 20 are excellent to watch. Fast handling is opening the flanks up every time. I thought that Alstead and Maden had excellent games again last night.

i have been most impressed with duffy than anybody else has i wasnt sure if he was a good signing for us at the start of the season. Also, duffy & jock remind me of cunningham & roby at saints as mcconnell is big and strong and duffy comes on after 20 minutes to change the shape of the game. Quality player so far keep it up duffers!!!

Said yesterday Jock isn't getting enough recognition for all the hard work and setting the platform for Duffy to come on and take over, they are working well together, be interesting to see were/if Durbin fits in.

Also when Duffy scored his try wasn't he actually playing stand off? with both him and jock on, a Riddy having a rest.

After being short on half backs it's a nice problem to have.

I would like to take this opportunity to retract my statement at the start of the season that john duffy was a pudding.I was sooooo wrong,and I am the pudding.Well done john and keep making me look stupid(not difficult)

JD has been one of our best signings this season. I love watching him play.....he excites me.

Always been a 100%er has John, certainly has the club in his heart as well which is always a bonus.

Keep it up 'Duffs'. I've seen players wrong-foot a defence with a change of pace. But John actually did it by stopping completely, and then setting off again!

A top performer and always gives 100%, well done JD keep it up.
