Loads of fireworks going off in westleyth it is the 4th july

Did it look like this? I took this about 8.10pm in Westleigh Park looking towards Wigan Road/Plank Lane.

Just seen another one...neighbours think I've gone strange, they're enertaining friends in their garden and some freaks peering through his window.

Oggy. If you were stood near the small garage on Firs Lane they would (apparently) be coming from the canal direction.

It has been known for kids to use bin bags as mini hot air balloons....could be them I suppose, but they're very persistent if it is....too far away for me to tell

Fireworks have been going off in Westleigh, I think they might be from the Red Lion who have new managers in.

upto 5 minutes ago fireworks were going off in firs park

I thought that at first but they were too slow and too long, and the display has been too long for that matter.

They have come from a house two doors from me in the nel pan lane area, some kind of wake or something after a women there died (i think). They were like floating candles, something like chinese lanterns that were let off by the relatives of the women.

I know its late but some gutted husband was firing his recently deceased wifes ashes into the sky,i feel sorry for the family,but what a way to celebrate her life! condolences to the family
