Leigh ARE relegated ..
The RFL have dismissed speculation that Leigh were to avoid relegation by the introduction of a new club to the co-operative championship one .
So both leigh and donny will be playing in championship one in 2010 ..

I feel like the last week or so has been like a cat playing with a mouse,if we are definately down so be it,but at least we as fans can prepare and not live in false hopes of a reprive.
The RFL will be gutted that Leigh are relegated, I bet Lewis and co have not slept worrying abourt our fate.We are one club that they won't have to worry about winning the GF and putting up a case for a Franchise,when they know exactly who they want in SL and I'm sure Leigh are'nt one of them.
We might be sick this year but I'm sure a few other teams will be equaly as sick over the next couple of seasons.
Onwards and upwards from now on,the word Franchise should be banned from this board for all next season and lets concentrate on getting some pride back into our club.

i accepted we had been relegated after the haven game and just got on with it.

The Bramley chairman also made a point of saying they wanted to take the club forward and how the Farsley ground wasn't up to standard but that it is now along with the snippets I posted earlier. At Farsley Celtic the sale of the club is pending with a new offer, involving new financial backers being considered. I am quite happy to take those little hints along with a PM or two to keep me smiling, at least until the end of September anyway.
