I presume you are talking about the Said tackle. Well... You need to look at that in perspective. It looked worse than it was because he went in very hard, and yes he swung his arm back to get some power into the tackle and it first hit on the arm, with the ball and went up into his face. I have no issue whatsoever with it being called as a penalty, but that is all it was.

In your opinion, from your view. But not from where the officials saw it. Its one of those that would need to be looked at in slow motion to decide. did he gather before it hit the ground, did it hit his foot etc etc etc. I dont know and I was there..

TBF on that one i was sat near where it happened and it did look a knock on. But it would have been brought back for the first knock on by Leigh and i really couldnt see them holding us out for a set of six on their line at that point in the game.

Worrincy's third was scrappy but from where I was sat it looked like Smith's pass was knocked back by a Leigh player then when the Leigh player slid in to gather the ball it slipped from his grasp and Worrincy reaped the rewards. I was sat quite close to it but still not certain.



Gleeson's pass to Royston for the matchwinner was perfect, bob on.



Having said that though we did give away some stupid penalties, with Said being a culprit for a few of them, but it was clear from the word go what your intent was and that wasn't to complete many tackles below the shoulder.



Dave Alstead, what an absolute Jessica, if he spent his energy into playing his rugby instead of playing the 'hardman' walking forward 3 steps after playing the ball to shout or coming in third man for a cheap shot, he'd have been lifting the cup on Saturday.

As a Fax fan who is totally biased I can still say that Worrincy DID knock on after picking up the knock on from a Leigh player so we would have had a scrum down there but it should have been dissallowed. We have been on the end of some of these calls in recent weeks so it is nice to get one for us for a change but that is sport in general.



Not sure about Tamgharts high shot, the ref wasn't even giving a penalty it was only because of the crowd reaction and a numpty running on the field waving a flag that it was given.



Glessons pass was perfect as I was sat in line with it, in fact it was the only good piece of rugby all afternoon.

i agree urban carrot, worrincy did knock on for his 3rd i thought...was stood up so was quite a way away, but it looked to touch his arm...we would have gone back for 1st knock on tho,



saids 'high shot' wasnt high....he just tryed to cream him and missed slightly making it look awkward.



as for worrincys 1st try fom beswicks kick, in real time he looked offside, but how many times have you sed that watching sky live, for them to go tot he screen and be onside?...he kicked the ball from no more than 2metres from try line, and rob in lightening in space to move!

a poor quality game, with all the tension youd expect making it nailbiting and very watchable
