I was miles out with the half time draw number.

Our defence is superb is it KP who’s the defensive coach whoever it is he’s doing a fantastic job he’s got them well drilled and organised.

Said Hock would be MOM after 5 mins he lead the way in the forwards, but all the forwards put in a good shift, Hansen must have forced at least 2 or 3 knock-on’s, Acton, Tickle, Higham, etc all contributed, Stewart (if we can get him for more than 1 game at a time) will be a great asset you could see him communicating and organising the troops. Also thought Hampshire had his best game so far, with him and Reynold both pull off a superb last ditch tackle with about five to go.

But the best thing that happened last night was as we were walking off, my son and nephew both born in the early 90’s, agreed with one another that this is the best Leigh team they have ever seen, they said to me that I was lucky as I’ve been to Wembley and seen us win the league, but that their time is coming. I couldn’t disagree maybe not this year or next but we’re certainly heading in the right direction and have something to build on.

Fantastic result and a first for me seeing us beat Wire.
Thought Hock again was brilliant aided and abetted with Acton.
Our defence was good and when we go forward with speed our backs look Class.
Let's not get carried away as Wakey will be waiting to bring us down to reality but the experience of following Leigh has been the best I've known in the last two seasons from the previous 28 seasons!

Our lads have improved greatly since our game at Cas.

I can't believe how good our defence is.

Cas are class this season it isn't just Leigh that they've dismantled. Our defence IS really good though. The thing that struck Bongser during the Warrington game was that, despite being one of life's worriers when it comes to matters sporting, he felt relaxed from only a few minutes in as it was clear that the lads were generally in control and confident.

Now, let's get a first away win under our belt this week.

I must admit I got that same feeling in the first half v Hudds.Even given all the ball spills,they where still in control.Wire was the same,although I did have apprehensions before the start of the second half as not much in it.They came up trumps.Time for others to start thinking how they play us,as it looks like we know how to play them.

I think Daren Powel has got his work cut out bringing those lads back down to earth now. I couldn't get to today's game as I had to go looking at new kitchens so it could have been that Salford were well deserved winners. Cas have been on fire for the start of the season but if they believe that they can just turn up and win then they will loose a few more games and maybe to bottom placed clubs. It's so up in the air this season it's mad.

Surprisingly (?) there is now nobody with a 100% record, after just 5/6 games.
