Having now had chance to read all the thread, tickets haven’t simply been thrown out like confetti.

The 5 local clubs were given a form to fill in ‘Who wants a free ticket?’ (I never asked but would imagine it’ll be funded by the Co-op, does it matter?), the form had to include the adults name and contact details and just the name of the child, a representative from each club was asked to drum up support from their club and to ensure the form was completed correctly, they had up until mid day Saturday to return the form to LSV reception, Leigh will then issue the tickets today/tomorrow for the South Stand.

Could it be abused? Of course it could, but hopefully not.

Thing is though Matt , these are people who are already coming , so yes having their details is important , what we need is the details of the people who might consider coming down , we need to give them a taster , that taster needs to be a good experience , that experience will be better if the stadium has more people in it and an atmosphere , you only get that atmosphere by having people in the stadium

Then we already have their details, as they will have entered the stadium by virtue of buying match ticket - it seems that you're talking about "first timers" when in reality we need to be targetting the "no timers".

Alright then - how do we get the details of people who might consider coming down? And don't say ask around in Leigh as we all know that Leigh town centre is inhabited only by junkies and Greggs sausage rolls during the week.

We do a ' blanket ' coverage , we make the LSV available to every single person in the borough , we hassle them , cajole them , make them an offer they can not refuse , we knock on doors , 100 per game , sell , sell , sell , sell

We could always send the lads round and drag them out of their arm chairs and to the LSV Steve, that might work.
