Ive just been told Jason Ferris played 4 games for us .

When i herd that story it was about Tommy Martyn, i was told that we looked at him as he wanted to turn pro but someone at our club said he wasn't big enough and the rest is history , fact?, myth?, Chinese Whispers no idea

It wasnt big enough as I recall, he said he wasnt good enough, this was just after Tommy had single handedly almost put Sheffield out of the Challenge Cup at Hilton Park playing for Miners
