Seems like every other professional club is charging around the £10 mark.

Whichever way you look at it, there is no way you can justify £18. You'd just about pay £18 for Leigh v Fev/Fax/Sheffield. Never mind East Leeds in the 3rd round of the cup.

The Kidds are never there if Sky have TV games, cos both do the stats for the S/L games, and i understand one went to FC, and t'other to the DW.

crazy idea why not have the west stand north as a double header £18 a ticket and then west stand south as single game £10 ticket??????

The west stand north could be left alone and then the west stand south cleared after the Swinton game to allow in the single game Leigh fans. Rocket science??

Both options then available to both sets of fans with very little admin! and as both parts of the stand are segregated should be easy to put into action or have I missed something

The only thing you have missed is the incompetence of the decision maker(s).

Are the Leigh Club aware of the strong feeling of the fans. They must be blind, deaf and dumb if they don't. I have spoken to many fans who are not going, its turning into a protest against the Club.
It only needed a bit of thought to administer 2 separate matches, after all one kicks off at 3, the other at 5-30pm. Leigh fans should have been charged say £10 (max) but could not enter the ground until 3pm. Swinton fans would also pay a tenner for their game and leave the ground by just before 5. (OK if someone hides in the toilet, so what, good on them) The £18 ticket would apply if fans wanted to watch two games - a discount of £2, how easy is that. An additional 600 fans would turn up with that system - as the meercat would say - "simple"

If that was the case, they'd see BOTH games!

What the club could do now (taking into account some tickets must have been sold) is say we are opening the north stand for the Leigh match only. £10 entry and this removes the need for people leaving the ground confusion. surely this must be a better option than fans boycotting the game because of an £18 entry fee even with the cost of opening an additional stand??

If it was a nice summer afternoon I wouldn't have any complaints, but I really can't be bothered with a four bus round trip to freeze my nackers off all afternoon, so N Wales v West Hull at Wilderspool for a fiver it is for me!

I agree . It's 4 home games in 16 days costing 70 pounds per person plus whatever they spend in the ground , a programme , a beer and a burger and a half time draw ticket , it works out at a dear do



Add all that to competing against other huge sporting attractions on at the same time , Man Utd in the cup on live freeview telly and the Grand National , and all this passes those that be by , Why ?

When are they going to play the white man with the Leigh public ? , it's the " Field of Dreams " syndrome with them still " If We Build It They Will Come "

Obviously when I posted my last post I should have typed more carefully, I obviously intended to say that Leigh fans would not be admitted until 5pm (not 3pm) Im sure everyone understood what I was getting at.

At least no programme to spend money on for the East Leeds game!

I love how their is no OFFICIAL comment from the clubs, apart from "you can watch 2 fascinating games of rugby league for a bargain £18"....GET REAL !
