There will always be people wanting to take advantage by buying concession tickets when not entitled and junior tickets when not entitled ,and there will always be turnstile operators not checking tickets properly and allowing every one in regardless, we suffered at the old ground by several well known people (and we all know who they were) getting into the ground free, We must be more vigilant than we are now or we will not survive.

Re the concessionary price, I'm in the 60-64 age bracket and prefer to pay each game.
The removal of the concessionary price will not cause any financial hardship for me but there have been times when, if Leigh are likely to be involved in a one sided game (either way) I have only gone because it was only £8/7 (North Stand).
If I have to pay full price then there is a possibility that I will not attend those games.
A smaller increase may tempt me however.
Therefore, the effect of this would mean that the club could probably receive the same amount of money from me as say last season but my attendance would be reduced. There may be other people who would act the same and this of course, would affect the franchise application.
My first game was in 1969 and I've attended on and off since (partly due to living away for some time), mainly going through the whole of the 90's home and away. Stopped altogether in 2002 and restarted last year.
So basically, it is the one sided games that will cause me to have second thoughts about attending if the concession was removed until 65 (although I am aware that these games can occasionally turn out to be anything but).

I truthfully don’t know what’s involved in setting up a payment scheme, nor how much the administration cost to run it are, but I find it very strange that my local car dealership, furniture, TV store, etc will be happy for me to buy their goods in this manner, I can even buy my LISA membership this way if I wished but I can’t buy a season ticket?

It smells of bull$heeite doesn't it, setting up LISA Bank payments was a piece of p years ago, surely payment into a seperate bank account with a simple spreadsheet isn't beyond us.

So the board have decided before the surveys are back that we will play all our games on different days again next season. Why bother with the survey if they are going to ignore it? Absolutely crazy and no wonder the gates are down. We NEED consistency. Anyone with a GCSE (D) in Business Studies could tell them that.

I'm just presenting you with facts about the questionnaires, that are still 'live'. I would think that, if there was a huge majority in favour of Sunday, or Friday, the Board would have to consider playing on Sunday. (or Friday)

In any case, the questionnaires are, I suspect, going to come up waith a split on three days - Sunday, Friday and Saturday. (just i.m.o.) I suspect nobody will opt for Thursday, except Premier that is. Also we'll have to play on Fridays and Mondays on Bank Holiday weekends, so there's a good spread, before the fixtures are even out!

We are also letting the. Coach and players decide to play some Friday games too next season don't forget.

The board have said they are playing some games on Friday again next season, the implication being we will play some games on Sunday. We have to play some games on Thursday, hence my statement we are playing on different days again. Obviously we have always played good friday and easter monday and everyone expects that. The fact that the deadline for the questionaires hasn't been reached means there can't have been a proper analysis done of people' views. Yes, I'm sure some will want to play Sundays and some Fridays and some Saturdays. But I bet there's no one wants to play on differentd ays and times every week, like we seem to have done this last season, and look like planning to do next.

However it has not yet been finalised as the fixtures aren't out as yet. The club have just indicated they wont be playing all games on a Sunday.
So I suppose we will have to wait and see when the draft fixtures are given to the club and then they will have to look at many things, like the dates the pitch is being re done again in July-ish, Swinton are also there all next season, their new ground won't be ready. THursdays we have no choice in the matter if we are picked for the TV game.
Just hope they dont send us to Workington on Easter Monday
