Well, I know we all think differently , but I think the last good news we had , was the appointment of Chris Chester , I think Chris will want to put his own stamp on the Club and Team , and I hope Derek allows him to do this , I don’t know Chris , never met the guy , but he does seem to be strong willed .And in his own statement Derek has said he is prepared to take a back seat .

Good enough answer Charlie, as always I am prepared to give anyone a go without pre-judgement.

Hopefully Harry , Derek will be as good as he says and takes a rest , and let’s Chris get on with what he is paying him to do, I’m not saying Chris is the Messiah , but as you rightly say he deserves a chance , I just hope we can now begin a bit of quality signings , to lift the fans .

On another point, now that Premier have signed a deal to cover the Championship for the next 2 years, it would seem there is going to be no 2 x 10's then until at least 2024 if at all ( my money is on a return to licensing) so do we attract a team good enough to win the Championship next season and put us in SL in 2023, don't forget Mr Beaumont has maintained that it his intention that Leigh Centurions will be playing in SL in 2023, or will this announcement move the goalposts?

The fact Premier Sports are investing in the game and not taking it for free is a bonus. One would say Mr Beaumont is still awaiting a reply. The game is most definitely moving in the right direction with this announcement.

How SL deal with it is another question? Looks like a TV deal might break SL.
